she goes into hospital in a week and she still manages to make my life miserable.

she was vacuuming my room today, actually 10 minutes ago and she never looks where she is stepping.. so what does she do.. rough handles my computer and then steps on my USB drive containing all my school work, assignments, typed up revision and Exasco forum stuff... and absolutely fucks it... it is smashed to pieces, the little memory chip inside the casing..... split in two.

but, she doesnt proceed to say"oh no, im really sorry" or anything alike.. she just says to me " its your fault because you fail to plan ahead in life.." i mean WTF is that...

sometimes i wish i was a girl so i could slap her.
and i know she wouldnt hesitate to throw me out if i did that.
she threw my brother out of home at 16 and forced him to move to new zealand.

Although your Mom sounds like she is being really horrid right now, you should try to remember the extreme pain and uneasyness she is feeling right now. I don't know about you, but I proably woulden't be happy-go-lucky if I was in extreme physical pain. What the hell is she doing vacuuming anyways?

Tell her your pissed she broke your USB drive. Because she is proably feeling like shit right now, try this little secret: use "I" phrazes over "You" phrazes. For instance:

Mom, I am upset that you broke my USB drive, which had valuable information and work on it. I also feel as if you have no remorse for breaking it, which really hurts my feelings. I understand you are going through alot right now, but try to see it from my point of view.

she isnt in extreme physical pain though...

and i have never, ever... ever... heard my mum say sorry to myself or my brother.

and its not that fact that i feel angry.. its the fact, that her actions have just caused me to fail grade 12.
sure site files, i can just re-download a copy of the edited files.

but a 6000 word assignment, 500 photos that were made into an animation and the numerous practice files i wrote up as revision for my DBMS test are all gone.. all due 2 days from now.

my school doesnt grant an extension because of loss of assignment, by theft or your storage device being broken... because you should have 3 copies of it.
1) 1 at school
2) 1 at home
3) 1 on your storage device..

but it defeats the purpose when u have 300 words saved at school.. zero at home and everything on ur storage device.

no just kidding but theres not much you can do... it sucks a lot that you lost all ur stuff... but if you cant get it back try not to stress about it.
its just school!!

try and distance urself from ur mum as much as you can... then you cant get in her way and she cant get in urs. be polite even if she isnt polite back.

and think, not long until you'll probly be living without her!

You won't fail, take an energy drink and pull an all-nighter. You can't do anything about the data lost, move on with your life.
