Ok, I cant actually put into words at the moment how pissed / angry / saddened I feel due to general selfishness and hypocrisy.

This post WILL bring things up from the past to a vague degree, and it WILL name a couple of names. This is a forewarning for all too not take offense to anything within this post - yet at the same time, take it to heart.

Exasko was originally created by Isaac, a name that some will remember all too well, and others not at all. Isaac was like all of us, he had issues, problems, depression - the works. Yet he found it in his time and in his heart to start something to help people.

Teenhelp.org had been going for quite some time, exasko started out as adoxos im quite sure, and then became exasko after a brief downtime, then it died due to Isaac not being able to cope with current situations. Just before the death of Exasko, I believe Speakout.biz started. Its creation and support was due up of a large amount of ex-exasko members.

The situations that caused Exasko's demise were'nt due to any single event in particular - things just got too much, and as markme would know, running a site like this requires time and dedication.

There was an event that did happen in the forums which upset everyone. Some people got upset because they didnt understand, some because they thought it was unfair, others because everyone else was getting upset.

So for those new to exasko or speakout or teenhelp, there is a very brief record of what happened to the old exasko.

The first time i came back onto this exasko, I was overjoyed that an old community had been restored. even if it was different, it was the same name and the same people. Like old friends in a pub!

Then I was horribly shocked to find that some people think this is a competition.

We exist to help, support and guide people through obstacles they face throughout life. In return we only ask that they share their own experiences in order to broaden our understandings and help more people, and be helped by them.

Just because there are multiple sites, does NOT mean we rival each other.
We dont hope that our members have more issues than other forums. We dont press or force people to join our forum and not anothers.
We definitely do not put down the other forums as a form of blacklisting!

There are a LOT of people on this planet, and a lot of those people need others to talk to. There is enough to share! If a member signed up with us and didnt like the feel, and chose to go to another forum - who are we to tell them they shouldnt?!?!

Its about helping people dammit.

Visit some forums and you will see slanderous comments towards Exasko.
You will see posts from people thinking its hilarious, let alone 'Just' that the old Exasko.info site has a nudism site on it - its not funny, its not just. Its a company taking back weird site name and then filling it with whatever they can... if its anything at all, its unfortunate.

I see slanderous comments scattered through Speakout.biz which are putting down Isaac. Speakout.biz is a forum I fully support - but just because someone gets hurt by another person does NOT mean others have the right to cast judgement and hate upon that person.

There are two sides to every coin.

Just like a recent post on our very own forums - An individual was suffering from what would seem an unfair situation in a relationship. Instantly, everyone has labelled the offending party in the situation as a lowlife and a waste of time. Through later discussion we learn that the offender is facing many issues of their own - thus SOME (not all) of their actions can be accounted for to a degree.

The point im making is that more oft than not, the offenders need just as much help as the victims.

Relating this to Isaac, I believe this was the situation - He came to be under a lot of pressure and it got too much. Too many things happened in his own life, he could not cope. When you run a site like this - you are often seen as a pillar of strength : what happens to a community when the pillar that holds up the roof gets a crack and all see that it is weakened? - Isaac couldnt post on his own site, or he would be seen as weak - where was he to go?

Its one thing for people to be angry at him, but dont hate him. He is like you and me, except he did something extraordinary and created a community - a family. For that alone, many people would owe him. But at least for the reason we are here, can we accept his mistakes and not bear ill will towards him?

The simple fact that some people cannot seem to forgive or respect the founder of a great ideal is disturbing.

Next to such a man as Isaac - I would be humbled.

So to all the negative people, the naysayers and those who bear ill will towards Isaac, or the old Exasko - Grow Up

To those who would rather this new Exasco did not exist - Open Your Eyes

And to those who are proud to be here, and know what they stand for - I salute you, may we not let others distract us from our mission : To Help Others

you are right about it being for help. thats always what its been for.

but speaking of issac, i dont hate him. and im really not mad anymore. yeah i was at the time. especially that one time when he left us all alone there and didnt tell us anything. it was seriously complete chaos. i didnt know what to do. im sure you remember that wolven. gosh it was horrible. but i couldnt understand why issac would do that to us, without any warning or anything.

i dont get that. why would we think he was weak? he is human. we all are. and that goes the same for here... if we post something, will we look weak? i dont think so. maybe thats just what he thought. i dunno. i miss issac though, he was a good friend dispite everything he did.

You're right. If it wern't for Isaac, we wouldn't be conversing on this site today.

if I remember correctly, Isaac also felt frustrated that he wasn't accomplishing his goal. the worst thing is, after the site went down, we talked smack about him. I tried not to, but I felt slightly betrayed; I wish I could take those words back. It was wrong of me to be angry, because even at that time, I understood why he shut the site down. I doubt he'd ever feel welcome in the community he created himself, of the people he brought together.

ps- i don't remember whatever 'horrific' event happened.
also, you didn't note how the forums went down several times...

anyways, the first time the site went down was when issac was trying to switch it over or something like that. dunno for sure, but i know it wasnt his fault. he didnt do it deliberately.

I agree with everything you have said W0lv3n,
And i can understand why Isaac couldnt post on his own site, ive also seen this with an admin on speakout.

Slander isnt a pretty thing and people should really get over it.

Its also right that we are not in competition with other sites, but every site is different. I think it depends on the sorts of people you get on the forum that molds its reputation..

and i agree whole heartedly.
isaac made a home for us.he helped so many people.and for that he should be appreciated not hated.his original site brought us together first day.and i have made many friendships through it.i am so thankful for what he gave us.
it was a pity we lost exasko..but i don't blame him anymore.i was angry at first,we all were.but i came to understand that he had tried his best.he needed to do what he did.
now that we're back here at exasco..lets enjoy it.and continue what we started : helping people.

This site isn't about help, totally - just look at some of the sub-forums we have. People need to be nice, but competition is natural. Most of the beef(s) here are between person to person, nothing is wrong with people choosing one site over the outher or thinking that one site is better than the outher. Im not going to be a fake and say that I get along with everyone from Speakout and advocate happy-peace feelings, because I don't belive in that.

You are right, competition is natural - but in terms of the site, we shouldnt aim at trying to be better than other sites just to get more members, or just to say "we are better than you". Instead we should focus on making it better for us, because we can, and then we can help more.

You said that it isnt totally about help?
By having all those sub forums, there is room for normal conversation, socialising and mucking around - something some people dont have. And also something that takes your mind things.
I think everything on the site helps in one way or another.


Im not trying to say that we shouldnt try and make exasco as good as we can.
I dont want everyone to be fake to people or places they dont like.

I just feel that there are a fair few people around at the moment that are being selfish and narrowminded - not allowing people to have hope, not looking at the bigger picture -
