Ok well ive noticed this problem my self aswell.
Although, julia has an animated avatar working..
I will get onto this, the option is enabled on the admin panel for animated avatars.

yea mine is a .gif format aswell.. although mines like 75x75.
i shal screw around with the settings and see what happens.

i think its probably because of memory allowance? Julias is smaller and is a smaller size so there is enough between that and the max alloted size that it can be animated....whereas marks is bigger and theres the files too big to have it animated...but can have it as an image.....
after reading that...i have decided that i should not be stoned.

Actually Tommeh was right!
I increase the max size of avatars file size, so now all you have to do is re-upload the animated avatar and it will work.
