What would you like to see on Exasco?

I shouldn't tell you this, and Isaac would really be upset if he saw this, but he told me he is laying out a blue print for what I'll call Exasko 2.0. That's where my suggestions are coming from

Hah, you think Isaac wouldnt watch this site like a hawk? pah lease. The fact that youve even said that kind betrays you... meh. Whoever you are, Id say its important to remember that your stirring an old pot, one that has lots of harsh feelings whether they be well grounded or not.

If you want to raise the dead, then go nuts, but the ending is never pretty.

Personally: there could be some changes to the site, that would improve it. But there should be less focus on making it the original exasko. Its about helping, not vendettas or crusades to push change...

The one thing that I believe should be looked at more than anything else on this site, is making it look more 'professional'. Doesnt mean it cant appeal to the target audience, but easy to read, navigate and get what you want is a must, at the moment I think that needs work. The rest is good as ever. A forum is built by its people, not by its features. The faster and easier it is for people to post and get where they want - the better, and the more people will know about it, and then more will be built.

If isaac is indeed creating an Exasko 2.0 then so be it. I dont believe he left without his own personal reasons, and I dont believe he deserves a lot of the crap he gets. But If he makes another exasko... well... its not a competition. Its not about who has the better site, just help the damned people! Imagine if you will speakout, exasko 2.0, exasco.info. Three places for one group of people, each with specific preference based on who they like or not more so than where they get the most help. Kind of defeats the purpose doesnt it.

The ultimate goal is helping people, what more needs to be said.

Everyone on Exasco.info seems to be touchy. There was no link provided, so the only type of "advertising" that's been committed is merely talking about it, with no way to see what has been done. Lighten up people, laugh don't cry. Though if a few simple post can get people so upset, perhaps my vision of Exasco is better left unsaid, and undone.

This is why I left the last time. People get so upset over stupid stuff. To think I'd compete with Exasco, is nuts and stupid in and of itself. Mark has done a wonderful job, and I'd never discredit him for that.


If Exasko 2.0 comes to pass, then I can only hope that the two sites will unite into one, or at least help each other out. I'll end it with a quote from Gandhi..

as the person that was left to deal with the origonal after math of exasko being closed i think that insted of carrying messages for issac, you should encorage him to come and say his peace he is, after all, a member hear so i belive.

Wolven made some (long time no see dude!) good points, its not about how technically sound of how full of gadgitry the forum is (look at speakout) its about the people that are on the forum, and their is almost a complite roster of orrigonal members of exasko hear (a few notacible by their absences) and some exasco orrigonals, and we have forged an amazing community hear that is as has been said MANY times on a few differnt threads hear is a family!

also, if we could compromise with the 15 chrarictors thing and maybe suspend that on the games forum, where it is most un nessasarry and most annoying?
