My skin might not be flawless
My limbs may have some scars
But inside me aches a heart

My body might not be perfect
My stomach may not be flat
But inside me beats a heart
Just like inside you.

My face might not be clearest
My lips may show some bites
But behind my eyes is beauty
Just like behind yours

My soul might just be broken
My spirit may be slashed to shreds
But inside me I know who did it
