Curse
a whisper of the mind
a tingle of a thought
a drifting mirage of water
that can never be caught
a child of the flesh
untouchable yet so real
roaming through reality
in darkness to heal
trapped between worlds
torn from which to trust
broken and dismayed
her heart lying in the dust
in the darkness she�s alone
in the sunlight she feels numb
crying to her conscience
from all the things she�s done
things she doesn�t understand
she tries so hard to know
frustrated with herself
not knowing which way to go
wandering in a circle
of bad to good to worse
stuck in disillusion
trapped inside her curse
