A Bit Of A Chatty One I Am

A Poem
In the darkness No Title To Bear
In a hollow place In the shadow’s, I’ll find you You stalk slowly Waiting on just the right time When I’m on fire That’s when you blow me out You break my dreams You break my happiness You ruin all in me You are disgusting I can’t believe you’re here Just stay away from me In my heartache In the shallow cracks Drilling deeper, you are there In my moments You take my happiest dreams Tear them to shreds Trying to darken me Your still disgusting Yet I let you in here Why did I let you in? In my sadness That’s when you prevail In my anger, you lie still You keep waiting For the chance to rip me to shreds Bring me to tears Because you thrive on pain And yet I like you And yet you bring release What the hell is wrong with me You’re my depression You are my enemy And yet, you are my king

Life isn't just about passing on your genes. We can leave behind much more than just DNA. Through speech, music, literature and movies... what we've seen, heard, felt ...anger, joy and sorrow... these are the things I will pass on. That's what I live for. We need to pass the torch, and let our children read our messy and sad history by its light. We have all the magic of the digital age to do that with. The human race will probably come to an end some time, and new species may rule over this planet. Earth may not be forever, but we still have the responsibility to leave what traces of life we can. Building the future and keeping the past alive are one and the same thing.-Solid Snake |

thanks, I totally forgot I wrote some stuff on Exasco. Funny thing is my writing teacher pretty much said that exact same thing when I orignaly turned this in for an assignment. He said he really liked the line about the fire...
