I have been posting a lot about the abuses of drugs and alcohol. I'm not trying to be a Dr. but in many of the articles I read, I read about weekends all you can drink, E!, and other things. When you mix these, they form ethylene in your liver which are toxic. You know the enes-benexene, kerozene and ethylene glycol is anti-freeze for your car. Your cardio-vascular system is stressed and if you don't get a heart attack at the time, you are lucky.
NOW THE REAL STORY.
I partied, travelled with bands and did it all too and was lucky. I did not get a heart attack and leave this earth. I was just like you. In college, party city was the name-blitzed out. So, I don't deny that I am pure or admonishing people. I have learned that everything in moderation is good. I cannot imagine that during the 70's you could drive while smoking green and the DWI enforcement was not that strong. Today, in my neigborhood there are random roadblocks especially on Friday's after most people leave work and go to happy hour. Sat of course and Sunday in the afternoon after football games. Today, if you get caught, its 6 months mandatory rehab, no license for 3 years and a lot of money to pay the lawyers, courts and the motor vehicle dept. You're basically finished. All of you have a long great future that will happen, day by day. Kids, marriage, ideas change, girlfriends/boyfriends change while you are in love, can't function and your stomach and intestines hurt while you are angry. I've been there and have been used also. Boy does that hurt.
Enjoy yourselves but think of moderation. It took me a long time to learn this. When studying Karate, my Master always said, you learn and grow by your mistakes, so don't be afraid and go for it. That is what growing up is. We all go through it in various ways. So please believe me, I'm not trying to change people's life.
So nelvannya, still in Texas, but you live by a great man, Walker Texas Ranger, Chuck Norris. One of my favorite shows.
