I've decided that before the end of summer I would like to have completed three article platforms for different content. One for philosophical questions and answers, one for life articles and the other for poetry. After which I will focus on advertising and marketing.
Here is a design I've made that could easily be molded for Exasco. All you would need to do is have Exasco instead of PostExasko. Let me know what you think of it!

to be honest i HATE articles for poetry!!! no offence but i seriously do. poetry is creative and is not an article form! (sorry if that sounded offensive in any way but i hated it on SO)
okay i dont really care about the articles. that doesnt matter to me. but that layout thing... sorry but it looks so childish. and the colors are way to bright.

The colors are bright b/c I feel that if you are surrounded by dark colors, you won't be as happy or feeling good like you would be around bright colors. Maybe change the red to an orange. It may have the a childish look, the kids holding hands, but what's wrong with that? Kids are pure, peaceful, loving people. Kids are innocent, and imagine how pleasant that world would be if adults saw the world through child eyes.

but a proffessional looking layout is a must..
because i think the layout is good... but perhaps not the banner..
I do not speak for every one.. but if i saw that banner, i would probably not go any further.
i put together just a suggestion layout.. colours on mine arent meant to show what should be there.. just a quick design, i really only put time on the buttons.

i kept the layout the way u had it pretty much and just added a few extra boxes.

meeermm, im not too sure on that mark. the buttons are very big and bold...maybe too much so, is there a way you could 'fill up' more space on there so they dont have to jump right out of the screen and bludgeon you to death? I thought I loved you, but it was just how you looked in the light.
the button bulge out heaps because i was building the template on a 50% of actual size.. and everything looks absolutely tiny on that.. so it was hard to make them in proportion.. but editing the buttons is easy.

A design can bring people in or keep them from staying. This design doesn't do anything for me, it looks like a style I could pay for on a vb skins site for <$50. Why not be creativity, send out some positive vibes..

the thing is though, to be honest, i dont like the hippy peace and love thing. i mean i totally understand where you are coming from, but at the same time...i feel that this should be more neutral, something that is appealing to general crowds and has no specific stature on tastes, genres or anything. as theres such a variety of people that join these kinda forums, i can imagine that alot of people wouldnt go for the whole hippy and peace thing, i mean, i wouldnt, i would straight off not like it.
as well as that, this forum isnt about peace and anti establishment, its about the people who are a part of it. i myself feel that war is an unfortunate yet necessary part of the world, im sure there are those that disagree, but there are those who agree also, diversity is key i believe, we need to tailor for a wider audience.
we arent trying to make the world a better place, just helping others in coping better in a world that is pretty much going down the shitter.
im not trying to be a cunt or anything, this is just the way i feel about it and im trying to express myself the best i can.
yeah i just wrote a big long thing about this and i didnt get to post it cause anna was crying so i had to get her, then my cousin jumped on here for a minute she said, which ended up being an hour, then when i tried to post it, it kicked me off and wouldnt let me back on here and i just now got it to work. gah...... im so annoyed. i cant even remember what i wrote. ill try to remember though.
