VERY IMPORTANT: We may go down for a couple days
Hello Exasco members,
I bring some potential bad news for The Exasco Community we have.
My hosting company hit me up for a $180 bill to renew the hosting.
The only bad thing about it was that they gave me 7 days notice before they suspend my account till payment.
So because i actually dont have my credit card on me at the moment, nor do i have the cash or atleast i dont think i do, Exasco MAY in a worst case situation go down for a few days after the 9th of this month. There will be no data loss, no loss of posts, no loss of anything, just downtime.
But fingers crossed that i get paid a good amount from work and that my credit card replacement arrives before the 9th of this month.
All Donations to my paypal account would be extremely appreciated.

update:
Due to bills and other things i have to immediately pay for, Exasco will proceed to go down until i can get my hands on sufficient funds to pay for hosting.

Good point. I hate how open yet closed the internet world of shopping/money use is.
(if you live with your parents, fool them into letting them use their card to donate $5 to charity)

i feel bad because i'm not donating...but i've donated in the past...plus if i'm going to be the only person that donates this time round is there much point?

Well with google ads, they dont generate much when people arent interested in them.
Plus wrlit sists is right, if she donates and the site goes down that wouldnt be fair. plus i would send it back her way any way.
the hosting package would be renewed for close to 2 years.
And yes credit cards and things as such can limit you, but you if you seriously want to donate and dont have a credit card, i can think up other ways.
im not looking for every one to pay the whole bill, just make it so i can pay the rest.

donate as much as u want, i would feel bad suggesting more than $10.
because i dont think 1 people should bare the costs, im trying to pay as much as i can. if the members could the entire amount needed id love you guys, if you cant, i can cough up as much as i can. i have about $60 spare, that i can afford to spend... the rest is needed expenses to keep me alive..
Plus Exasco.. turns 1 on the 10th of this months... with the irony that the hosting runs out 1 day before.

Is the 180 Austrailian dollors? How much is that in US and Britisb pounds?
How can we give money if we don't have a credit card? I would be prepared to give some of a few nights wages? I'll just work my little socks off (literally! ha!).

It is US dollars.
and most of the other ways revolve around bank account deposit as such and things like that. E checks...
