Page loading time

well....
I think every one on here may have noticed that the forum is loading rather slow

, im determined to get to the bottom of this.

It seams it has sped up a little, but im still not very happy.
I'm going to get onto my hosting companies back.

Its wont be for a while until i start generating money from the ad company ive opened an account with, but i may buy us a dedicated server.

do you think there is any way we can get ad/s without sound? i'm okay with the "gorgeous girls" (that's quoted from the ad to the left) but I definitely did not win a free ipod/iphone/nano and the looping music on that other ad is driving me crazy.

the forum seems to load perfectly fine with me.

well, im not sure about the ads sorry, i havnt seen that one.
but i think the ads only make sound if you run your mouse over them,
im sorry for the problems that it may be causing.

the ads make sounds once i am on the tab. ("congratulations you have won a free ipod nano" and some music on a loop) i'll get a screenshot sometime, but i dunno. i'll just deal with it for now. it's fine.

Hmmm..
im sorry that thoughs sorts of ads are on the site, ive actually never seen that ad.

I may be removing ads from that company, as they are absolutely pissing me off, they are not proffessional at all and it seams they have paid me $1.13 for 20,000 page impressions.

I'm very annoyed because that should be $200 USD.

I may take legal action, if i find it possible to win.
Teach em not to fuck with the small guy.

in terms of adverts and money, at what point can we claim to be a non profit organisation - and get benefits and grants. i need to look into it, but im sure something like that is possible...

no where it says we are non proffit though.
"The Empire Empire" & "Pro Pc Sales" are my companies which owns Exasco, and they are profitted organisation.

Plus, if we were non profit, it would simply mean that at the end of the financial year we will not make a profit, which doesnt mean we cannot make money, it just means it cannot be profitable.

e.g. if i earned $2,000 from advertising and i spent that on a server for our site, thats non profit.

If i earned $2,000 and claimed it as an income, thats a profit.

Non profit organisations can even pay people a salary for their work...

But, im not using Exasco to make money, just the money it makes will be put towards stuff for us, like faster servers and connections, more resources, advertising us in the internet and possibly funding events or donating to charities that are worthy.
