Here are some very minor changes I think would help. First, condense all of your topics. You have so many topics, so little conversation and that just looks horrible. No one would join a site that looks empty, this site looks empty. Secondly, the article system has content that is in no way related to self enlightenment.

Don't put things on the site if they don't make sense, because the new site hasn't established it's image (which is another problem) so people will not know what to make of it.

Right now I got more than I can chew, but I think Exasco would be a stress reliever for me. I got a lot going on in my personal life which maybe I could get creative and build something. That's how I originally built Exasco.

I don't want a smooth professional looking site. I want to truly go back to Exasco's roots. Nothing fancy, but a lot of substance.

the broad range doesn't do any bad, and in terms of how it looks, that's a matter of opinion, i don't think it looks bad at all in the same way that others will think that it does.

I completely disagree with that you say exasco has not established an image, it definetly has to me.

No offence but everything you are saying just sounds like changes, not things that will improve it, just make it different. More about what would suit you rather than the site.
