Tongue piercing

Lol...I just want to see how many would agree to tongue piercing...
just say yes/no and a short why?

umm this isnt a survey...........

but i dont really like it anymore. i thought it was cool for a while. but uh no. its kinda gross now that i think about it.

1) Would you ever have your tongue pierced? well i used to want the bit under my tongue pierced (i dunno what its called) but i'm too scared to get it done so i've gone off the idea

2) If no, why not?

3) What do you think of Tongue piercings? i think so people can pull it off...but on some people it just doesnt suit them at all

4) What other piercings would you do either than the tongue? i already have my ears done 3 on oneside 2 on the other and i think i'm getting my belly button done in the summer and i want my ear done at the top and maybe again at the bottom

wow...if you could go through navel piercing wouldn't you be brave enough to go for the one under the tongue?

probably but i know a few people who have had it done...and most have them have got infections in them...so it makes me a bit scared

i want piercings, but my folks would kick me out of the house, so im gonna wait till college starts, then get some.

1) nope
2) that is an awkward place for a piercing. i'd hate being paranoid about getting it caught, ripped, doing weird stuff with my food, infections, etc. plus it is in a body part that has to deal with lots of outside bacteria and things like that. and i don't like the idea in the first place.. it kind of squicks me out
3) tongue piercings are not for me. i guess they do have their pluses (i have heard... uhm.. advantages) but i don't think i'd go through any of that just for pleasure.
4) i'd rather get my belly button pierced. i can cover it up easily. also, if i take my mind back about the piercing, i won't mind whatever scar ends up being so miniscule on my stomach rather than my face.
5) tongue piercings look unprofessional a lot of the time, as do a lot of facial piercings. and they're just not my type of thing. like, i wouldn't get my nose, lip, eyebrow, etc etc etc pierced. and i don't want to run around for the rest of my life with piercing scars. i guess i wouldn't even pierce my ears again- i don't wear earrings most of the time as it is.

yeah i guess other piercings may leave scars but that is if you dont wear the studs or earrings..i wouldnt bother getting a piercing if i werent going to wear the earrings or bellbar anyways...tongue so far i think leaves no scar? i may be wrong anyhow....
i want to get mine done..wonder how bad is the swelling? anyone here that has done it?

4) What other piercings would you do either than the tongue? i have my ears pierced! lmao. yeah. nowhere on my face. thats a big no. i thought about the eyebrow once, then thought against that too. but if i ever lost weight (yeah i know), i would consider my belly button, ive always thought that was cool. but that will probably never happen. lol.

i'd imagine getting tongue piercings would hurt.. a lot. plus eating post-piercage!? i dunno. tongue-scars would be weird, i don't know if they would occur.
