It's about pereception rather than situation.
I also said that I prefered sex with someone I love rather than casual sex, because I believe sex IS about intimacy and love if that's what you want.
And honestly, I am terribly suprised you've never met anyone to whom sex means nothing, sex does not mean nothing to me, but I don't think it's as important as everyone thinks it is. I know plenty of people who don't believe that sex has anything to do with intimacy at all.
And if you'd actually read my post, you'd see that I also stated that the person who lost their virginity on drugs and at 14 is not the person I am today. And that I am begining to understand dignity and self worth but honestly, it's not something that comes naturally to me, and if you'd lived my life, I doubt you'd have much self worth either.
I'm sorry if this has come across slightly angrily, but you've missread what I was trying to say.

I did mention it, but it dosnt matter. That when I lost my virginity I wasn't the same person as I am today, the fact that I was addicted to drugs is irrelivent.
It's just like, perhaps I was naive and stupid back then, but I had reasons for being such an idiot and I've payed my dues for it now, you know?
I would'nt do a lot of the things I did back then now, one night stands being just one part of that. I just don't get people who think sex is everything, and having it or not means EVERYTHING. It's just sex, it can be dirty, disgusting, fun, emotionally painful and beautiful, it is one simple inherant human thing that can mean many things.
