| Need Help or Advice?, heres the place Need some advice on a cirtain sticky situation? Or do you just need some one that will lend an ear? Heres the place to come.

my little kitten (animal cruelty)
So, I got a five week baby kitten a few month's back. She was the runt of the bunch. At that time I wasn't staying at home and when i moved back home my mom wouldn't let me keep her because we had too many animals. So i left her at a house where I thought she was safe.
Come to find out they had been feeding her dog food and human food for over a month. I started begging my mom to let me take her home and when she said no i respected it.
I then got a call from my friend saying that she had a broken leg. This cat is about three months now, but still fits in the palms of my hands. I asked her what happened and she said that someone stepped on her. They weren't doing ANYTHING to help her.
Another reason I had left her there was because she had worm's and the lady there said she'd give her medicine to help her get better. She gave her med's once and then just left her be. Like that will help any.
I made my friend go to the house and catnap her. I took her home with me and i took her to the vet today.
She has ring worm, and flea's, and a fractured leg right below her hip and above her knee. They can't brace it because they must brace it above the knee and on her hip and it will fall off. They told me she needs surgery which will cost about 2,000 dollars. I need advice on way's I can pay for such an operation. This cat is the sweetest animal i've ever laid my eyes upon. Me and my friend thought about having a fun raiser, but were not really sure how to do it. Any advice would be greatly appriciated, She needs this operation.

This is going to sounds really bad, But there is another way.
the poor thing must be pain. If you can't find the money, you will have to think about putting her down. I know that sounds mean, but it's not.
sorry, I don't have any idea how you will raise $2,000.

I understand that, and she walks around on it like it doesn't hurt. She doesnt meow or anything but im worried that down the road it may start to hurt her.
You don't need to appologize because i've been considering it, or at least thinking about it. I just don't have the heart to do it.

i love kittens....so much...but i think putting it down is probably the only real option...a fund raiser might work though

the surgery only costs that much, because thats what they want to charge.
depending on how much u love this kitten will i guess depend on its life.
ask the vet if you are able to pay off the surgery in installments or try find a non profit organisation animal home or something like that, that could do the surgery for expenses only.
id say that putting it down is the easiest thing to do, but really... too many people take the easy way out of things.

The poor kitten! I'm so against putting animals down if it's only because the owner can't find the money. There must be a way. Where do you live?
You should try and get animal rescue services involved, I reckon they could help you. They might even be able to help pay for the surgery.
The kitten never deserved this. I'm such an animal lover and I'm so upset at the thought of someone just stepping on it and not caring at all about how much they hurt it. Some people are monsters.
My two ginger kittens (got pictures on my profile) nearly didn't live. Their owner disowned their Mum and chucked her in a river, hoping she'd drown. They had no idea she was pregnant but probably wouldn't have cared anyhows. We almost didn't get them, they are the luckiest kittens! Can't imagine life without them now. :(

i used to have 4 kittens (and the mother which i still have) and if anyone did anything to them or her id probs go spare - here we have the likes of the RSPCA which helps with such things, it might not be completely free buts its at least cheaper. maybe you have something similar?

OMG I am so sorry to hear that...
Is there not an animal shelter that can help, maybe go to them and see if you can swap them raising money for campaigning or something

Tomorow im going to go to are humane society to see if they can help somehow, my friend made flyers.. not sure what they look like, but everyone who has come into contact with this kitten has absolutely fallen in love with her. She depends so much on me and I can't put her down. I dont' have that kind of heart.. im determined to raise this money to save her. The people who did it, if i ever find out exactly who it was believe me ill be pressing charges. She is the most beautiful amazing animal i've ever laid my eyes on. She comes when i call her and shes a total trooper.. With a broken leg she still jumps around and has fun. gahh, it just breaks my heart. :(
