Ok....this is the deal

I hate prom, but I really want to ask someone else

except the person likes another guy

but that guy does not like her

theres another girl, but I have no chance....so which should I go for.

whoever you like the best - the worst she can say is no! if the guy doesnt like her then hes not going to ask her, so thts no problem, and im sure your got a fine chance with the other girl, youve just gotta believe in yourself!

dude just go for which you like best and if that dont work out then try the next, try not to be shy about it, go up to them or phone them or something and say 'hey would you like to go to the prom with me' if they say no then say fine no probs, and be done with it or look to someone else. like patchwork said, worst that can happen is them sayin no so try not to think it just go for it.

Babe I think you should go with who you want. And as much as I could agree with you all and say "the worst that could happen is that she would say no", but it is a crushing defeat. It hurts quite a bit, but I do not think you should not ask the girl you want, because of this fear. Go for it babe, I hope the best for you, and I think any girl that told YOU no, is stupid and shallow. You are a great guy and any girl would be lucky to be asked by you... dont forget it

it didn't matter in the end, prom sucked.. so yeah...that's my update.
