Compliments
So Guys I have a question.
So I am dating this guy, and he is very sweet and cute, and just adorable, but he likes to compliment me.
Now many of you are looking at this screen going "what the hell do women want!"
Allow me to explain, I really dont know how to take a compliment, normally it consists of
"You're cute" "Anyways so school was good"
I love the compliment but I have no idea how to respond
Nor what his motives are
So here are my questions
1. How do you tell a compliment from a "nice shoe" compliment?
2. What is the "goal" reaction, from a girl you complimented?
3. What is your motive to compliment?

good questions. i think guys should definately answer those. that would probably make things easier. lol.
btw its great that you got a guy that compliments you. thats gotta be a good thing.

Ok take note that I am not a normal guy when considering these answers
1.Tone of voice is a dead giveaway to the "nice shoe" sort of compliments. Otherwise if they are just throwing the compliments out left in right there's a good chance (60%) that some of them are "nice shoe" compliments
2.um I don't know really. Personally I hope they think I'm being truthfull and won't bitch me out for it...that's about it really.
3.I personally give compliments when I mean them, some people choose to to try to charm someone (often leading to "good shoe" compliments). Sometimes when someone is in a bad mood I'll try to come up with an honest compliment that will at least distract them from their bad mood. I know some people even use them as pick up lines (and rarlly ever suceed either).
Ok that's my take..

well i also think you can tell the difference from a genuine comment to a fake one.
For example, guys never really care or notice chicks shoes, nails, etc....
so most of them are usually fake comments.
Also compliments that come after and awkward silence are also just fake.
you can usually tell by their tone of voice, the way they are looking at you and.... where they are looking.
to be honest if you want to try tell the difference and not be offended, just accept them all.
because if you dont accept a comment because you believe he is fakng it, because if he isnt then he is going to be offnded as hell.

1. Sat nothing but move closer using a little body language. It shows you are confident and not nervous.
2. Hopefully the guy means it and is not seeking another motive.
3. To make a woman feel special, beautiful, wanted and desired and of course, show her that you care and love her. Remember, your feelings in your twenties change every decade. What is hip today may soon become plysay-tower of power
