my birds died
yeah ive been at my mamaws all week and yesterday my brother called me and said that both of my birds died. i was so upset and i couldnt stop crying. i know they were just birds, but they were my babies. i loved those birds. and when i got home today i walked in my room and it was so quiet and i just started crying. everyone keeps saying they will get me another bird, but its not the same. ya know.

Sweetie I do understand. I went away to visit my dad and I had 4 parakeets when I left, and came home to none, because my mum closed the vent and forgot to open it.
It's okay, it does suck though... and you can get another bird but wait awhile

my mom said she thinks they died cause they got too cold. i dunno. it just really bothers me. and im glad someone understands. thanks. and nel that really sucks about your birds. man and i thought 2 was bad. ill probably get another one, but like you said, wait awhile. thats what i told everyone when they asked.

it must have gotten pretty darn cold for your birds to die.

It was probably not cold, but a draft. Even if the draft is weak, if the draft is there long enough, it makes the bird sick and then they die.

eh i had birds for years, a draft of wind would have to be there for a bloody good few days to make them sick.
