yes, it is a private premisis, and privatly owned, i know this, but this is not what i am saying, i am saying that it is a public places, WHICH IT IS, as it is open to the public, You can't actually get more public than that, unless a group called "the public" bought it, Or the government did.

And yes, the kids are supposed to pay the child fair in the first place, because previding some people for completly free would not be fair would it? Also the bus runners make the assumption that the parents CAN afford some money for their child, just not as much as an independant person would make. Also for the people that cannot afford one, there are these thigs called Bus passes which i'm sure you have heard of, where people with low incomes, get cheaper fares.

As for the 18 year olds who can't afford full fair? then they shouldn't be riding a bus to whereever they are going, unless it is work, in which case they should ask for transport cover. The only real reason an 18 years olds can't afford much of the important stuff is because they blow it all on usless shit like cars and make-up, or they are too lay to get a job.

All the 18 year olds that i know that can't afford this fall into those two categories, i also knew an Average 18 year old with no diploma or anything getting over a grand a week.

My point remains the same form the start, no matter how many do it, it is unfair for one to say that kids cannot come to a restaurant when they have no choice whether they are a kid or not, whilst an adult has the choice to eat out or not.

i will NEVER go to a restaurant that does not allow children.

Btw. atm poll supports meeee!

aye it does support you. and fair enough that YOU wont go there because they dont allow kids. but i think its stupid that you wont go there on principle. you're disadvantaging the people that work there who might be tryna get the money to pay their bus fares, and simply coz their manager says they dont want kids. lol

im sure that a lot of people will find it MORE appealing however, and thus the people against child banned restaurants will be evened out by the people FOR child banned restaurants.

christoph i dont get why you wont go to the restaurant... because im not allowed to go to a casino because im not an adult... im not allowed to buy alcohol because im not an adult..

so its really not any different when your not allowed to go some where because your not an adult.

ok my turn, why SHOULD they HAVE to try?? give me a reason why they should have to put the offort in to tolerate something they dont like when they have as much right to having a place to go as anyone else?

'And if you are a couple so anti-social and against kids, you should probably be eating at home.'
-That is utterly ridiculous...you keep using the word fair but this is like how the uk is fair to immigrants, now we arent allowed to fly our own flag. that statement is extremely unfair towards people that slightly differ from the majority.

and no no no NO! a privately owned place is a private place, somwhere like a street, open to the public at all times where anyone can go, THAT is a public place. you cant have a privately owned public place. thats just a contradiction of titles.

like i said before: *a public place is covered by law that can be enforced by local authorities ONLY - a private place is covered by law, hence licencing - its illegal to drink in a public place, and the employess/owner of the property at their discretion, you cannot eject someone from a public place, you cannot bar someone from a public place, you cannot refuse entry to a public place, but they can do this at any resteraunt, bar, whatever because when you step off the street into a shop or whatever you are then on private property and are not in a public place - a private place tailoring for the public.

I cant understand why you keep mentioning fairness, but then dont agree that everyone should be provided for, you are contradicting yourself!!!
