i'd be fine with taking steroids now, i was fine with taking them at 15.
its just like smokers or people that take other sorts of drugs, we are all oblivious to the negatives until they happen.
And in my head, i can only see the end result.
we see what we want to see and now how it should be seen.
i know of all the terrible side effects, cancers, tumours, death, heart attacks, high cholestrole and blood pressure, hair loss, acne, breasts, balls shrinking, infertility.... etc etc.

But unlike any other drug user, you've realised that NOW. Which mean, unlike nearly every other drug user, you can make an informed decision, is it really worth it?
My situation is different from yours in several ways, but mostly that I didn't see the risks, the horrors of it all untill I was deep into it, I couldn't escape. Don't let it go that far, see it all now, both good and bad.
And it's not just that physical stuff either is it? Psycologically, do you want all that?
It's like everyone, half the people I know! They all think it's worth it, fuck it, I do, I'm no one to be telling you this, but, you've got a clear head, make the choice when you're NOT on it, it'll be so much easier honestly.
And you've got to truley weigh it up.

Mark,
I've heard this from many people who had to take steroids as medication for asthma...does it stunt your growth?

im a little concerned that medical health companies are being believed over scientific research.
medical health companies are still based on making money and advertising. therefore it is unlikely they will ever focus on anything negative about steroid use.
science is impartial and therefore reliable and has more validity.
my question is this, if you are a perfectly healthy young male, why would you need steroids?
the only way i can cut it is that the perferctly normal adult male wishes to be something he wasnt made naturally. So if we take the usual "bulking up" then yes steroids may push you to accomplish more - but there seems to be something not quite right with that. i would honestly not go on steroids because anything that is worth achieving when you are capable of doing so with a little more hard work, is worth the extra mile and not downing pills or having injections.
jesus, i just re read that...i should be an advertisement for anti drugs.

Doing weights will stunt your growth if you do a big amount of them.
I infact stunted my growt by a few inches, because i started weights at 13.
Im not sure if steroids would, but it may.
Ive never read anywhere that it does so... there is the possibility it may. Although you shouldnt be taking steroids until you stop growing.

Hmmm the thing about steroids is, it doesnt physically make you huge.. It just repairs all your cells fast, which lets you work even harder instead of having a day off.
There is many bad listed side effect of steroids, which im very sure exist, but they would exist in people who have a genetic fault or are unwell.
Also it did state, healthy males..
people with cancer and tumours would die from it, because it speeds up the grow rate of both of them.
I believe that you should also do your own hard work, but its like every where else in the world, when people can find a way to be even more efficient with the same effort put in, they will do it, because its efficient.
I dunno im Pro steroids, i'd do them if i could get them.
But i wouldnt recommend them for every one and deffinately not for people who dont know what they are doing or just think " wow im gonna get massive".
I know a few people that take steroids and they are ultimately huge and i guess muscle appeals to me.

Agreed. I was wondering, is it possible to create a dependency on steroids either physiologically or psychologically? I wouldn't necessarily class myself as against steroids, my only concern is the mindset I would be in to feel that it was more important to do a workout than to let my body heal properly. Now it is likely that people with addictive personalities would be well suited for the gym as they would have more ambition. Hence the reason I'm not anti steroids, however I'm only questioning whether I would partake in it.
To be truthful I feel the same way about any recreational drug including alcohol. You weigh up (pun not intended) the side effects against what you aim to achieve and base your decision on that.
Still, I've been looking into Creatine and that might be the way to go!

They may be able to become psychologically addicting. Almost anything can...especially when it gives results like steroids do. MDMA isn't physiologically addicting but people crave the "lifestyle" or what it makes them feel like. Steroids could have the possibility to become addicting like that because of what they can do to your body....but thats just my theory lol.

Yes they become a psychological addiction.
You get addicted to the feeling of power and all the other goodies that come with it.
You can also get depression when you come off steroids.
