baby stuff (opinions)

i was just wondering if anyone felt the same way i do about these things, so i thought i would post and see....

first off, my biggest problem, when people dont use carseats. that scares the crap out of me. my papaw doesnt use them and he just lets everyone hold them. i have a really bad feeling that one day they are going to have a wreck and the babies are gonna be hurt badly. anyone else think this isnt right?

next, painting a babies fingernails and toenails. i think it is extremely tacky. i hate it. ive heard people say that it is cute, but it is so not. yay or nay?

and last, at one year old they should be drinking real milk. right? the babies are still on infamil and its disgusting. they throw it up really bad and its hard to get them to drink real milk. before they were drinking real milk and now they arent. it drives me nuts.

so yeah i was just wondering what you guys think?

on an overall with everything, i think that its really all up to the gardians choice..

no car seats dont bother me, cause i never had one.

painting finger nails and stuff like that can be fun for the child in some ways, because children want to assimilate to the people closest to them.

With milk... milk is milk i guess... plus im guessing that infamil is probably more healthier than normal milk, as it has the added vitamins, minerals etc.

In the end its really all up to the oppinion of the person looking after them. Perhaps if you feel strongly about some of these issues you can either suggest to buy the car seat... or buy it yourself.

with milk, you could suggest that they go on normal milk because the infamil costs too much.

stuff like that.

yeah.. i agree with mark.. its up to how the parents/guardians want to look after their baby. coz i guess theres not a lot you can do about it.. afterall there isnt a perfect way to bring up a baby.. but i do understand ur concerns.

they have carseats, they just wont use them. we use them though. i just dont get how someone can do that, knowing how dangerous it is.

and thats the thing, the infamil costs them nothing, she got ten cans a month, for each baby. so they have tons. and now they get real milk with wic but they say since they have so much infamil that they are gonna use it all up. seems to me like they just want to keep all the real milk to themselves.

anyways, thanks for your opinions.

im not sure why you think they want to just keep the normal milk for them selves... cause milk isnt really something expensive.. And believe it or not, car seat or not.. if the crash is bad, the carseat isnt going to help.

how old are these children?

i said that cause thats the kind of people they are. even if it isnt expensive, they act like it is gold.

and its not just that they dont use a carseat, they dont buckle them up either. and in a big truck like that, it worries me. they have no protection at all. and i know it might not help all that much, but at least it is something.

and they just turned one in august.
