How quaint a notion

Yesterday I was inclined to believe the things you said today
but I've grown since then
and in growing I have shrunk
down
down
down
to your level, a place where I can see from your perspective
and where I can see from behind your eyes...
from within your mind...
how does it feel to have to remember every lie you've ever told?

I don't have that much to remember
I don't have that burden
that heavy load of the years that reeks of phosphorous, sulphur, and that marginally tracable hint of sarcasm

Theres a place for you and your kind, and I've heard it reffered to as a million different things

I call it Location X
