My Mood:
What does exasco needs? Something that makes it different than the other support sites. That is what made the orginal exasco what it was. The only thing that is different than Teenmoods or goLivewire is the people who come here. Thus, the only people who come here are the people who have friends here. Other wise you might as well go to golivewire because they are different than other support sites.

I'm not sure who really followed the orginal exasco, but it had it's own content outside the forum. That made it special.

vBulletin is nice but it's a package. Exasco wasn't a package you could buy, it was truly a unqiue place. Perhaps the magic that was there, was lost when the creator stopped it.

Let me give you an example. There was a poetry section to the site outside the form, there was content outside the form, ect. There was also lyrics that fit the subject matter.

I think this was said above, but this site hasn't defined it's stance.

Here is what I would do if I ran this site.

Create a CMS, that would include articles, poetry, and lyrics that fit the subject matter. Content is very important! I cannot stress that enough.

Create a year book like script, not a forum that you post photos. So people could have like a record of what they looked like each year. I think that would be cool.

Have a script that allows people to document their days as a way to help them grow. Writing is very good, escpecially if they are going through a tough time. Maybe have both a public journal, but also a private journal b/c if you know people are going to read what you write, you won't be completely honest.
(d) Sort of picking up off C, I would think of ways you can help people with their problems. If you want to tackle addiction, not only have articles on addiction and how to over come it, but a way to document how well you are doing in your battle with whatever you are addicted to.

Those are just a few ideas.

I shouldn't tell you this, and Isaac would really be upset if he saw this, but he told me he is laying out a blue print for what I'll call Exasko 2.0. That's where my suggestions are coming from
