I agree with what everyone's saying here. you have to distract yourself from the numbness.
I've been SI free for 3 years now. There are times where i think about picking where i left off, but the truth is it's enpowering to know that i can get through everything and still be SI free.
like everyone says, buy a notepad and everyday write. it doesn't really matter what you write as long as you're writing. about the weather, your day, and soon enough you'll be able to write about how you're feeling.
Also, if it gets bad, get a luckyband. (Hair lucky) and wear it on your wrist. whenever you feel like hurting yourself flick the luckyband on your wrist... it helps. you get that pain but no cuts. but you can stop...
