Relationships Change
I know you guys are young and I felt the same way back during the Revolutionary War. But I know from the age of about 17-27 my mind, likes, dislikes, the type of girl I liked changed like the era of no cars to space travel. It seems very big, and rightfully so, they are your feelings, but not to rush things, enjoy every minute of your life. Someday you will look back, forget most of it and you actually become a different person through education, meeting people with similar ideas. My best friends todays are the people I met in College. The guys I grew up in the Bronx on my block, I never see them and have no desire and HS buddies are gone to. Every once in a while we have a boys night out, all friends from college. All musicians too. My wife is a musician. I couldn't imagine being married to a non-musician, not that other occupations are bad. Now, imagine if I married a girl from HS. We would have grown apart and probably be divorced. Have a lot of Fun with your girlfriends or boyfriends but don't take it to serious. Things Change. (By the way, a good fun movie. I'm 55 and still growing and maturing. It is life and happiness. All's well matties.
