I don't think it's about embarressment, I will gladly tell people on other sites...etc about exasco (ooh, good idea, I shall do this indeed) but it's that for a lot of us, this is a safe haven away from all the troubles we face off the internet, here is a place we can say how we really feel without our family or friends reading it, it's freedom to be ourselves for once.
I agree with being open, but it has to be a choice, I mean, I love my sponser, but honestly, I wouldn't want her to come on here, perhaps it's a protective thing, but for me it's about this site being seperate from my life outside of it and being able to talk about stuff that well, I don't want everyone I know off this site to know about. I think a lot of people come here because we can be open, here, and can't elsewhere.

But yeah, back to the point, sites often go up and down in members, it just happens, it will perk up again soon, as long as some of us stay!
